๐Ÿ”ญ THE ONE THING

๐Ÿ”„ Three years after banning ChatGPT over a source code leak, Samsung just became one of OpenAI's biggest enterprise customers

OpenAI announced it's deploying ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to all Samsung Electronics employees in South Korea and to all employees in its Device eXperience (DX) division globally. The DS semiconductor unit stays under tighter restrictions outside Korea, so "worldwide" is doing a bit of work in the framing. Still: this is a company that made ChatGPT a fireable offense in 2023 after engineers leaked chip design code into it, built a mandatory AI security training gate before handing out credentials.
